Moscow to host 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships

MIES, Switzerland/MOSCOW, Russia (FIBA 3x3) - The 2014 FIBA 3x3 World Championships will take place in Russia's capital city of Moscow, FIBA announced on Tuesday. The tournament will be held over the course of five days in June 2014. The exact dates are to be announced at a later stage.

FIBA and Mediaset España sign broadcast rights agreement for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup and EuroBaskets 2013 and 2015

MIES, Switzerland/MADRID, Spain - FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, and Mediaset España have reached an agreement for Mediaset to broadcast the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup to be staged in Spain, as well as the EuroBasket 2013 in Slovenia and the EuroBasket 2015 in Ukraine.

South Africa launches National Basketball League

The South African Sports Ministry is making sure to position itself for future success as it launches one initiative after another. On Friday March 22nd 2013 the Minister of Sports Fikile Mbalula launched a National Basketball League for the country to allow the nation to develop the talent it needs to compete at the global stage.
